The Truth behind Regression Therapy (Hypnotherapy)

It is an everyday event in my office that a client will ask me about Regression Therapy aka Hypnotherapy and their perceptions about it. The key point they always have is the programming they have seen via mainstream media forms. You know the one that someone gets regressed and quacks like a duck and then forgets they acted that way. Simply, this is a real experience one can have in a regressed state because it is the lowest level of the subconscious mind. It is simply used for entertainment.

A therapeutic approach is going to the basic level of our subconscious mind to gain access to the memories, feelings, and thoughts from our past to heal from anxiety, depression, anger, relationship issues, weight loss, smoking cessation, traumas, and addictions. It is important to point out that we all go to this basic level of our subconscious mind 80% of our day. We go into this state of mind when we are driving, watching television, staring at a computer screen or phone, and even shower thoughts.

The reality is that the basic level of our unconscious mind is easily accessible to us all. There is nothing to worry about when working with your subconscious mind. I say this because your conscious mind is 10% of your brains activity while the other 90% is unconscious. When you allow yourself to go into a regression therapy (hypnotherapy) session; you are engaged in 100% of your mind. You become superconscious! This means you are aware of the world around you while working through your past. A very deep level of healing during these sessions. The real difference between talk therapy and regression therapy is that talk therapy is a lengthy conscious process that works towards unconscious material to heal from and regression therapy is going to the source or origin of the issues right away and healing from the inside out.

My clients after hearing about all this information have become more open to this approach. The ones that have engaged in regression therapy report diminished or eliminated symptoms in 1 or 2 sessions. Their feelings of anxiety, depression, anger, fear, addictions, etc. tend to diminish in intensity and they feel more stable in their life. Recently, my clients have been reporting to me that they feel so good about their life; they are telling others they need to try a session or two of regression therapy. If this article finds you well and you have a strong pull to heal yourself at a deeper level or even have a strong desire to get rid of symptoms you've had for years; Please feel free to contact me and we can discuss what I can do for you. Be Well!!!
